So you want to become an entrepreneur?
4 december 2025, PaulI was often asked this question in my first years in the automotive industry. Whether I was really sure that I wanted to become an entrepreneur. Whether I had thought about all those sleepless nights, the stress, the uncertainty, and everything that comes with being an entrepreneur. My answer was always the same: YES.

By now, I have been an entrepreneur in the automotive industry for more than 25 years, and it was the best decision I ever made. Despite all the sleepless nights, stress, and other challenges, it has also given me an immense amount of knowledge, a huge network, and a lot of freedom to shape things the way I thought they should be. I have made many mistakes, but also a few good decisions that still pay off to this day.
I like to help other entrepreneurs succeed. Our mission at #DCDW is not for nothing “to make online automotive better,” and this time I want to approach it differently. I believe in partnerships.
At #DCDW – Digital Car Dealer Workshop – making online automotive better!, at CARMEN Automotive BDC, and also at Ligier Store Doesburg – Experience Center, I work with co-owners, partners, or employees who also have a financial interest in the business performing well. This gives me peace of mind and stability, but also 100% commitment from those involved.
Opportunity for a (young) entrepreneur!
With that in mind, I have a proposal, an opportunity for an entrepreneur. I still have a software company in the automotive industry, which I started two years ago and which is slowly gaining momentum. Not enough yet, but there is revenue, there is recognition, only the next step is missing. After all, there are only 24 hours in a day, even for me. If I want to take the next step, I need to collaborate with someone who wants to become an entrepreneur in the automotive industry but doesn’t yet really have a product, clients, or idea. I have the plan, and the infrastructure is already in place!

I want a partner in my own company. This partner will receive X% of the shares without any financial contribution. Free, in other words! Well, nothing is really free, but the shares, the revenue, and the margin are. The new partner must manage the company, of which we both own X% of the shares. The new partner must stay awake at night, not just because nothing is easy, but also because he or she can determine their own future. I am only there to help, not to do the work; the partner must do that themselves. That is their investment in the company, in their own future. Are you that partner? Are you willing to sacrifice some sleepless nights to have your own company with me and shape your own future?
If you want to know more about what I mean exactly, I would love to hear from you. Let’s have a (digital) coffee, and who knows, it may lead to your own company.
